our story

product resolutions logo

2000

The year it all began. Established in Greenwich, UK by Paul Robbins after his return from over 7 years in Hong Kong. Joined by Nick Harvey in July 2000.

Our branding was originally designed by branding genius Nick Eagleton (now a Saboteur) - although we've used slight variations over the years we're proud it's stood the test of time.

2001

We were starting to get some traction with new clients in the UK but many of our early projects were for Hong Kong based clients, this quirky universal remote control was for Brilliant Concepts who became a long term client.

2002

Our international client base meant we didn't really need to be in London so we relocated to the beautiful City of Norwich, we love the big skies, creative buzz and of course the stunning Norfolk coastline.

2004

We established Product Creations Ltd through which we launched the IPX4 range of outdoor garden products. These included the worlds first electric patio heater as well as electric BBQ's. We quickly had distribution into B&Q and major garden centers both in the UK and overseas.

2008

The year of the global financial crisis meant we had to quickly decide how to successfully navigate this difficult time. We decided to downsize in order to make ourselves more nimble and able to react to the unprecedented times, it worked and we ultimately came back stronger.

2012

The Olympic year. And a very exciting year too working on projects related to London 2012 and starting to work a lot more in the medical devices field.

2013

We entered into a joint venture with a client to develop a new range of medical devices in the bowel management sector. Our focus was on creating a range of user-focused, easy to use devices which was very much needed in the market. We created the Aquaflush brand, it would go on to become one of our most successful ventures to date.

2014

We purchased our first 3D printer (the first of many!), this interest in the emerging desktop 3D printing market lead us to work with Autodesk in the development of their Ember 3D printer.

2015

Year of the dragon - Steam the Clockwork Dragon to be exact! This year saw us sponsoring one of the dragons on the Wild in Art Trail in Norwich for Break Charity. We continue to support Break in their work to help vulnerable young people create a better future for themselves.

2016

We've been working with suppliers and customers in Hong Kong and China for years so we decided to setup Product Resolutions Hong Kong. This enables us to more smoothly manage our tooling, manufacturing and supply services to our customers.

2018

We've spent years renting studio space and always dreamed of buying our own space, we finally made it happen, turning an empty concrete box into an inspiring studio workspace with our own workshop.

2019

After growing Aquaflush Medical into a successful business with international distribution we were approached in 2019 by multiple parties looking to acquire it. By January 2020 we completed the sale to Renew Medical Inc. and the business continues to go from strength to strength. We still work with Renew on developing new devices for the range.

2020

We started the year planning how to celebrate our 20th anniversary, instead COVID 19 hit and we suddenly found ourselves working from home. It didn't slow us down though, we established HTD, a specialist medical device development business as well as beginning the journey of the SMRT Medical device brand, they are set to become the experts in continence products.
